Chris has been immersed in the Hospitality and Wine industries for over 20 years. As the owner of a boutique wine brokerage since 2015 (Leighton Beverages – www.leightonbeverages.com) and a level one sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Chris knows the ins and outs of what it takes to properly store and age wine. Chris grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and developed an early interest for good food and wine from his parents. Since 2002, He has continued to grow that passion here in San Diego, getting his MBA at San Diego State while simultaneously helping facilitate the launch and franchising of We Olive & Wine Bar nationwide. In his off time, Chris can be found outdoors, enjoying the local mountains, biking, and practicing yoga.
